Personal Information We Collect We collect personal information to operate the Platform, facilitate coaching services, and comply with legal obligations. The types of information we collect include:

Payment Information: We collect payment details (e.g., credit card or bank account information) through our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe) to process transactions. Coachify does not store payment information directly.

Identity Verification: For trust and safety, we may collect government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport) or Social Security Number (SSN) for verification or background checks (costing $0.50–$2/check for ID verification, $8–$50/check for background checks, per your prior queries).

Tax Information: Coaches must provide tax details (e.g., Form W-9 with SSN or EIN) for IRS reporting (e.g., Form 1099-NEC/K for payments of $600+ annually, per your tax form question).

User Content: Includes listings, reviews, or other content you post on the Platform.

Trust and Safety: To verify identities, conduct background checks, and prevent fraud or illegal activity (e.g., excluding known criminals, per your Terms).

Tax Compliance: To issue IRS Forms 1099-NEC/K for Coaches earning $600+ annually (or $20,000+/200 transactions for 1099-K, dropping to $600+ in 2025), per your tax form question.

Personalization: To tailor search results, recommendations, or ads based on your preferences, location, or usage.

Analytics: To analyze Platform performance, user trends, and engagement (e.g., via aggregated data).

Customer Support: To respond to inquiries or resolve disputes via support@coachifyusa.com.

Legal Compliance: To comply with federal and state laws (e.g., FCRA for background checks, CCPA for California data rights).

Marketing: To send promotional emails, notifications, or ads, subject to your opt-out preferences.

Between Users: Coaches and Clients may share names, contact details, or booking information to facilitate services. Profile photos and public reviews are visible to other Users.
